About the 2008 Leland Blue and Gold Auction

The 2008 Blue and Gold Auction is the premier annual fund-raiser for Leland High School; a National Blue Ribbon School, California Distinguished School and a CCS Athletic & Scholastic Champion. The auction raises funds for Leland's Booster and Parent Clubs which are used to support the school's academic and athletic programs. All proceeds from the 2007 Emerald Isle Gala were used towards refurbishing the home team's stadium seating, LCD projectors and computers for classrooms, sound & lighting equipment for the Drama department, and display cases for the library.

The funds raised from the 2008 Blue & Gold gala fundraising auction will be used towards Sound equipment for the Leland Stage, Technology equipment for the classrooms, funding the teacher wish list and athletic facilities and renovation. The funds will be split evenly between the Parent & Booster clubs at Leland.

Leland High School's 23rd Annual Blue and Gold Auction fundraiser will take place on March 1, 2008 at the downtown Marriott Hotel in San Jose. This year the live & silent auction dinner dance will be held from 6pm until midnight. The Annual Dinner Dance Auction Gala fund-raiser Celebrates 40+ years of Education.

Many of our students participate and volunteer at the auction. Last years auction featured the Leland Jazz Band and we had a vocal performance by one of the students.

The annual Leland Blue and Gold Auction is traditionally a sold out event. Space is limited and early response is strongly suggested. The reservation deadline is February 27, 2008.
